  1. Eloy's "Performance" is ironically their worst performance coming out during the turbulent years in with a revolving door policy of membership. Really the only good thing about it is Bornemann's guitars and occasionally his vocals sound like vintage Eloy. The songs are mediocre and it is replete with filler songs and throwaway material/5(15).

  5. Of these four Performance is the one that stands farthest from Eloy. On one hand the sound is quite heavy (Shadow and Light) and on the other hand it's quite poppy and simple (In Disguise, Surrender, Fools) There is an instrumental piece called Mirador where a lot of keyboard and synth goes on, but it seems out of place among the other tracks/5(5).

  7. Performance is the album at which most progressive rock fans jump off the Eloy bandwagon. Although this record is indeed weaker than any of the band's nine "classic-era" releases (Inside through Time to Turn), I still consider it to be enjoyable enough in its own crysemenresystio.calpanisccambchetsatatharoundnotofo.co of the music here falls a bit outside my definition of progressive rock, although the space rock label is still.
