1. The streets of Vasastan have a homey feel to them, as this is mostly a residential area. An abundance of small local restaurants populate the area.

7. Vasastan (formally Vasastaden) is a neighbourhood in north-central Stockholm, making up the northern part of the Norrmalm borough. It borders Östermalm to the east at Birger Jarlsgatan, Kungsholmen to the south-west.. Hagastaden is a neighbourhood under construction, just north of Vasastan. While it is in Solna municipality, it neighbours Vasastan.

Vasastan var ursprungligen ett inofficiellt områdesnamn inom stadsdelen crysemenresystio.calpanisccambchetsatatharoundnotofo.co är inspirerat av att Vasagatan leder i riktning mot Vasastan. Vasagatan fick sitt namn efter Vasabron, vars namn i sin tur inspirerats av Gustav Vasas staty utanför Riddarhuset vid brons södra landfäste. Stadsdelen Vasastaden fick sitt namn officiellt fastställt år
